Doctorate in Applied Chemistry

The goal of the study cycle is the training to highly qualified human resources in Chemistry and in subjects which are relevant for research activities, both theoretical and experimental, or for application in different areas of industry and services.

Therefore, each student enrolled in this study cycle should develop skills to conceive, plan and develop research activities, either in partnership or in an independent manner, always according to patterns of quality and academic integrity. At the end of the PhD in Applied Chemistry, the students have to produce original scientific contributions to be published  in national or international peer-reviewed journals.

Formal requirements


The recipients of this PhD AC will hold a Master's or Baccalaureate degree in the fields of Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biological Engineering, Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Textile Engineering and other related scientific fields.
