This equipment is used for determination of particle size and/or for analysis of size distribution through laser diffraction. It allows analyses of particles between 10 nm and 3.5 mm with a single optical measurement path, making it suitable for a multitude of purposes. It can be applied to geological samples, such as soils and sediments, as well as to other materials (e.g., powders, granules, fillers, …).
